The November election drives virtually every move made by the Obama Administration, the Democrats and Republicans in Congress. It is probably on the minds of the conservative majority and the liberal minority in the Supreme Court as well.

Important Voting News
The MOVE (Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment) Act is a very good thing. We fought for it and won these much broader voting rights. But it contains rules that you NEED TO KNOW now! Everyone must register to vote this year.

You must register every year
Due to a new absentee voting law, everyone must register to vote every single election year. Register online at www.votefromabroad.org today. And then please tell your expat friends to do the same.

Nothing formal – hey, it’s Amsterdam – this is just a ‘gezellig’ way for a bunch of American Democrats to get together on the 1st Saturday of every month, greet familiar faces and hopefully meet some new ones. We'll have someone available for voter registration, and you don’t even have to be a member of DANL. But if you’d like to join, we’d be happy to sign you up then and there.
